Family Law.  Christine represents clients regarding divorce, contested custody, parenting time disputes, child support review, spousal support, fair and equitable division of the marital estate, grandparent visitation, adoption, paternity, and conservatorships/guardianships. 

Estate Planning.  Christine assists clients and their families in developing and implementing plans to insure that they are taken care of if they become disabled and to provide for the orderly distribution of their estate upon their deaths.  Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Patient Advocates are typically parts of most plans.  She also assists clients in obtaining guardianship and conservatorship when it becomes necessary for the well-being of a loved one.

General Business.  Christine works in the area of organizationing and establishing businesses in west Michigan.  From the small, closely held family business to larger corporations, she counsels her business clients on changes in the law and advises them on their ongoing operations.

Christine earned several Certificates of Merit during law school - awards recognizing her performance at the top of her class - in several practice areas including Torts, Contracts, Civil Procedure, Appellate Practice, Legal Research & Writing, Secured Transactions and Federal Disabilities Law.


Christine resides in Grand Rapids with her husband, Alan, and their youngest daughter, while their eldest daughter and grandson live in Traverse City. A cancer survivor, Christine volunteers her time to Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids as part of Club Red, as well as Friends of Dyslexia Education for West Michigan Children where she serves as a Board Member. Christine enjoys spending free time with her family, cooking (paleo), reading, photography, playing euchre, and exploring Michigan’s natural beauty and historic sites, especially lighthouses.
