PRACTICE EXPERIENCE AND DESCRIPTION

Family Law

Victoria represents clients with many family law matters. Her areas of practice within Family Law include, but are not limited to, divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, paternity, and guardianship. She has practiced in several counties throughout Western and Northern Michigan. Her personal experience as a child of a contentious divorce has provided insight and fueled her passion to assist families with legal matters.

Mediation

Victoria has over 40-hours of mediation training through the Dispute Resolution Center of West Michigan. She has volunteered as a mediator on several cases and is on the court appointed list for domestic mediation in Kent and Ottawa County. She focuses on domestic mediation and assists individuals come to a mutually acceptable agreement.

Landlord/Tenant Law

Victoria has represented both landlords and tenants in rental and land contract disputes. She has experience with evictions, defaults, recovery of deposits, and breach of contract claims within this field of law.

Criminal Law

Victoria assists clients in a variety of criminal matters, including domestic violence, alcohol related charges, retail fraud, misdemeanors, and other offenses.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Victoria enjoys giving back to the community. She previously served as a board member for Habitat Young Professions (HYP) of Kent County, attending and organizing build days and events to bring awareness to the community while fundraising for Habitat for Humanity. Victoria also served on the Grand Rapids Young Lawyer's Board as the community outreach chair. When Victoria is not working, she spends time with her family, dogs, and friends. She enjoys exploring new places and trying new things, but also appreciates quiet time at home watching a movie and having quality time with those she loves. Projects and arts and crafts also keep her busy.
