HISTORY
Bolhouse, Hofstee & McLean started as a two-attorney firm in 1978 in downtown Grand Rapids. The firm has grown slowly, but steadily, to its present size of 9 attorneys. In 1982, the firm relocated to the beautiful and historic Grandville State Bank Building in downtown Grandville. This location gives our clients quick and convenient access to our offices while allowing easy accessibility to all of the area courts.
PHILOSOPHY
Over the past 40 years Bolhouse, Hofstee & McLean has developed into a highly respected law firm providing a full range of legal services in the areas of Business and Commercial Law, Real Estate Law, Probate and Estate Planning, Personal Injury, Civil Rights, Creditors' Rights and Collections, Employment Law, Family Law, General Litigation and Criminal Law.
The firm is dedicated to the concept of specialization, and much of the success the firm has enjoyed has been as a result of the ability of the members of the firm to specialize and develop a high level of competence in their particular areas of concentration. Each attorney at Bolhouse, Hofstee & McLean is part of a team that represents every client. While one attorney assumes primary responsibility for a specific client, other attorneys in the firm whose expertise may be required may assist that attorney. This team approach allows us to use the full resources of our firm and makes these resources available to our clients without sacrificing the close, personal relationship that traditionally exists between attorney and client.
COMMITMENT TO SERVICE
Our commitment to service is well known not only to our clients, but also in the communities in which we work. The firm had the privilege of being named "Business of the Year" by the Greater Grandville Chamber of Commerce, due in part to our long history of giving back to the community. Over the past 40 years, the attorneys at Bolhouse, Hofstee & McLean have participated in a variety of community organizations including the Grandville Downtown Development Authority, the Grandville Senior Neighbors, the Grandville Rotary, the Grandville, Jenison, and Hudsonville Chambers of Commerce, Grandville Boy Scout Troop 292, LOVE, Inc., the Visser Family YMCA, and volunteering at and donating to local private and public schools
